Prezentarea situa\u0163iei dramatice a vlahilor \u00een Albania anilor \u201960 \u015fi \u201870 ai secolului XX este miza acestor trei registre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dou\u0103 vechi obiceiuri vlahe constituie punctul de plecare al tramei narative a romanului lui Thanas Medi&nbsp;<em>Ultimul cuv\u00e2nt al lui Socrat Buba<\/em>&nbsp;(roman tradus \u00een rom\u00e2n\u0103 de Oana Glasu, Eikon, 2020).&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Pentru ca un copil cu zilele num\u0103rate s\u0103 tr\u0103iasc\u0103, este l\u0103sat \u00een mijlocul drumului, ca s\u0103 fie g\u0103sit de primul trec\u0103tor, iar acesta, cuprinz\u00e2ndu-l \u00een m\u00e2ini \u015fi, ridic\u00e2ndu-l spre soare, trebuie s\u0103 strige&nbsp;:&nbsp;\u2018\u2019Al meu, al meu&nbsp;!\u2019\u2019, \u00een acest mod prelungindu-i via\u0163a&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 8). A\u015fa a fost descoperit\u0103 Caterina (Colbea) \u015fi, conform unui alt obicei r\u0103sp\u00e2ndit la vlahi (<em>rr\u00e2m\u00e2nji<\/em>, arom\u00e2ni)<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/7B11D295-20C5-4F21-8F2F-2D735595FD7A#_ftn1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a>, ea fusese logodit\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;din leag\u0103n&nbsp;\u00bb cu Socrat Buba, c\u0103s\u0103toria urm\u00e2nd s\u0103 aib\u0103 loc c\u00e2nd feti\u0163a va \u00eemplini cincisprezece ani.&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 registrul romanesc<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/7B11D295-20C5-4F21-8F2F-2D735595FD7A#_ftn2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a>, povestea rela\u0163iei \u00eentre Caterina \u015fi Socrat \u015fi a personajelor care evolueaz\u0103 \u00een jurul lor, avem de a face cu trei alte registre care se desf\u0103\u015foar\u0103 \u00een paralel \u015fi se completeaz\u0103 pentru a forma la sf\u00e2r\u015fit un tot&nbsp;: pe de o parte, un registru etnografic, pe de alt\u0103 parte, un registru sociologic \u015fi, \u00een fine, prin interven\u0163ia unui personaj care apare ca un fel de alter ego al romancierului, cu un registru politic. Prezentarea situa\u0163iei dramatice a vlahilor \u00een Albania anilor \u201960 \u015fi \u201870 ai secolului XX este miza acestor trei registre.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thanas Medi poveste\u015fte, g\u00e2nde\u015fte, scrie, at\u00e2t din\u0103untru c\u00e2t \u015fi din afar\u0103&nbsp;: acesta este principalul lui atu pe plan documentar. El provine din universul colibelor de paie \u00ab&nbsp;precum ciupercile, umflate \u00eentr-o parte \u015fi cu mo\u0163 \u00een v\u00e2rf&nbsp;\u00bb din Plaiul Bufni\u0163ei, abandonate ulterior pentru periferia unor sate de la c\u00e2mpie precum Gori\u0163a Mare.&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registrul etnografic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Niciodat\u0103 pedant, anecdotic sau grandilocvent limbajul folosit de autor este direct, deseori acela propriu personajelor romanului, atunci c\u00e2nd evoc\u0103 aspectele care prezint\u0103 un interes din punct de vedere etnografic. De o rar\u0103 plasticitate, cuvintele, expresiile, turnurile&nbsp;&nbsp;ajut\u0103 cititorul s\u0103 p\u0103trund\u0103 \u00een atmosfera care prevala \u00een situa\u0163iile trecute \u00een revist\u0103, s\u0103 situeze \u00een contextul lor informa\u0163iile transmise privind obiceiurile vlahilor, stereotipurile care circulau despre ei, condi\u0163ia lor social\u0103, etc.&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uneori, poezia \u015fi etnografia sunt separate de o simpl\u0103 foaie de \u0163igara, spre exemplu c\u00e2nd sunt evocate momente din via\u0163a de zi cu zi&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Razele soarelui str\u0103pungeau paiele cu care era acoperit\u0103 coliba, \u00eens\u0103 mama sa le crezu un foc \u015fi de acea a r\u0103mas cu gura c\u0103scat\u0103 c\u00e2nd mica Para\u015fchievia i-a spus&nbsp;: \u2018\u2019Ce faci, m\u0103i mam\u0103, cu ap\u0103 vrei s\u0103 stingi soarele&nbsp;?&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 58).&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Totu\u015fi predomin\u0103 remarcile acerbe&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;Vlahii din Bufni\u0163a (\u2026) erau pentru sat un fel de carne str\u0103in\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 79). Z\u00e2mbetul (ziaristului de la&nbsp;<em>Vocea poporului<\/em>&nbsp;venit de la Tirana&nbsp;s\u0103 lanseze campania contra logodnelor din leag\u0103n) \u00eei r\u0103m\u0103sese \u00eentre buze ca o mu\u015fc\u0103tur\u0103 dintr-un m\u0103r stricat&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 236).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ap\u0103s\u0103toare, atmosfera din colibe este descris\u0103 realist \u015fi cu umor&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Se spunea mereu c\u0103 \u015fi un str\u0103nut dac\u0103 sc\u0103pai, nu r\u0103m\u00e2nea neaflat. Iar asta nu se \u00eent\u00e2mpla numai din cauza distan\u0163ei neglijabile dintre locuin\u0163ele din paie ci \u015fi dintr-o apropiere aparte&nbsp;&nbsp;a leg\u0103turilor de s\u00e2nge care, dac\u0103 s-ar fi studiat, i-ar fi scos pe to\u0163i vlahii muntelui&nbsp;&nbsp;veri\u015fori apropia\u0163i&nbsp;&nbsp;sau \u00eendep\u0103rta\u0163i, unul de altul.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 121)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Descrierea ritualilor legate de momente importante din via\u0163a comunit\u0103\u0163ii precum cel al nun\u0163ii&nbsp;<em>easte di saric\u0103<\/em>, cum se spune \u00een arom\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een referin\u0163\u0103 la mantia de l\u00e2n\u0103 purtat\u0103 de&nbsp;<em>p\u00e2curari<\/em>, chiar dac\u0103 cuvintele folosite sunt cele de azi.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La nunt\u0103, se \u00eenfige \u00ab&nbsp; o furc\u0103 din lemn de corn, unde urma s\u0103 fie ag\u0103\u0163at \u015fi jupuit \u0163apul de ginere ca o prob\u0103 dat\u0103 \u00een ochii tuturor pentru c\u00e2t de apt va fi s\u0103-\u015fi dezvirgineze nevasta \u00een prima noapte de dup\u0103 nunt\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 302). \u00ab&nbsp;Socrat Buba v\u0103zuse multe astfel de ceremonii \u015fi avea destule exemple de gineri&nbsp;&nbsp;care nu reu\u015fiser\u0103 s\u0103-\u015fi dezvirgineze nevestele a doua zi dup\u0103 nunt\u0103 pentru faptul c\u0103 \u00ee\u015fi pierduser\u0103&nbsp;&nbsp;toate puterile dup\u0103 jupuirea \u0163apului&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 317).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00cen zilele din ajunul evenimentului, amintindu-\u015fi cum fusese odat\u0103 \u00eembr\u0103\u0163i\u015fat\u0103 de altcineva, Caterina \u00ab&nbsp;\u015fi-a sp\u0103lat buzele \u00een fiecare diminea\u0163a cu s\u0103pun de rufe, le-a frecat bine cu o c\u00e2rp\u0103 aspr\u0103 rupt\u0103 dintr-o saric\u0103 veche a tat\u0103lui ei, ca s\u0103 \u00eenl\u0103ture de pe buze orice urm\u0103 pe care ar fi l\u0103sat-o acolo buzele lui&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 305).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u0103s\u0103toria cu cineva din afara comunit\u0103\u0163ii este exclus\u0103&nbsp;:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Str\u0103inii st\u0103teau deoparte, \u00een\u0163eleg\u00e2nd c\u0103 sunt \u00een plus pentru reu\u015fitele, bucuriile, durerile, vaietele, c\u00e2ntecele, nun\u0163ile sau b\u00e2rfele vlahilor.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 121)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multe dintre descrierile diverselor aspecte ale vie\u0163ii vlahilor precum deplas\u0103rile \u00een caravan\u0103 cu oile (p. 110-111) sau ritualul prepar\u0103rii pitei (p. 113) nu aduc informa\u0163ii neap\u0103rat noi<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/7B11D295-20C5-4F21-8F2F-2D735595FD7A#_ftn3\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a>. \u00cen schimb ele certifica rolul central pe care aceste aspecte continuau s\u0103-l joace \u00een sudul Albaniei \u00een anii \u201960-\u201970 \u015fi care vor disp\u0103rea pu\u0163in dup\u0103 aceea. Acesta este probabil \u015fi unul dintre principalele motive care au condus autorul s\u0103 scrie aceast roman \u00een care propune un adev\u0103rat portret colectiv al vlahilor \u00een ajunul marelui val de sedentariz\u0103ri care a pus cap\u0103t definitiv uneia dintre ultimele societ\u0103\u0163i care au conservat forme de organizare de tip tribal \u00een Europa<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/7B11D295-20C5-4F21-8F2F-2D735595FD7A#_ftn4\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a>.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registrul sociologic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Condi\u0163ia social\u0103 a vlahilor \u00een acea vreme, a\u015fa cum reiese din carte, nu avea nimic de invidiat, uneori era chiar jalnic\u0103, iar tentativele din zilele noastre de valorizare necritic\u0103 a modului de via\u0163\u0103 de odinioar\u0103 \u015fi a tradi\u0163ilor independent de natura lor apar drept mai mult dec\u00e2t derizorii.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Majoritatea vlahilor de la Bufni\u0163a nu aveau nici cea mai vag\u0103 idee despre scris \u015fi citit. (\u2026) Ca prob\u0103 era citat \u00ab&nbsp;cazul fiului celnicului&nbsp;&nbsp;ajuns s\u0103rac \u015fi care, de c\u00e2te ori se \u00eentorcea de la studii din Italia, \u00eei cerea tat\u0103lui s\u0103 \u00eempart\u0103 oile cu s\u0103racii, iar asta nu era alceva dec\u00e2t dovada unei min\u0163i slabe.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 46.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apropo de Caterina copil, atunci c\u00e2nd sf\u00e2r\u015fitul ei p\u0103rea familiei ineluctabil&nbsp;:&nbsp;&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Cum nu se mai \u00eent\u00e2mplase vreodat\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 atunci, micu\u0163a n-ar fi plecat din lumea aceasta \u00eenf\u0103\u015furat\u0103 \u00een velin\u0163\u0103, ci cu co\u015fciug de lemn, comandat \u00een ora\u015f. De asemenea, se g\u0103si \u015fi un loc \u00een cimitirul din Gori\u0163a Mare, \u00eentruc\u00e2t, p\u00e2n\u0103 atunci, vlahii din Bufni\u0163a nu aveau un cimitir al lor \u015fi \u00ee\u015fi \u00eengropau mor\u0163ii pe unde puteau.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 70.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aceste aspecte sunt deseori pierdute din vedere atunci c\u00e2nd nu sunt l\u0103sate inten\u0163ionat la o parte de autorii m\u0103rturiilor \u015fi chiar descrierilor disponibile despre vlahi. Bine\u00een\u0163eles, observa\u0163iile privitoare la aceast\u0103 perioad\u0103 \u00een Albania nu sunt neap\u0103rat valabile \u00een alte locuri \u015fi \u00een alte perioade. \u00cen ceea ce prive\u015fte problema cimitirului la arom\u00e2ni \u00een deplas\u0103rile lor, personal am avut pentru prima dat\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;revela\u0163ia&nbsp;\u00bb existen\u0163ei ei la Bachi\u0163a, \u00een Rodopi, c\u00e2nd tovar\u0103\u015fii mei de c\u0103l\u0103torie, printre care descenden\u0163i direc\u0163i ai gr\u0103mo\u015ftenilor cipani care locuiau periodic \u00een aceast\u0103 localitate ast\u0103zi abandonat\u0103 au \u00eencercat s\u0103 localizeze mormintele ascenden\u0163ilor lor. C\u00e2t despre importan\u0163a acordat\u0103 unor practici precum \u00ab&nbsp;c\u0103derea \u00een trans\u0103 cu mor\u0163ii&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 167), ea arat\u0103 limitele influen\u0163ei bisericii ortodoxe asupra comunit\u0103\u0163ii.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pentru vlahi, tot ce nu era vlah era str\u0103in, de unde tendin\u0163a lor de a se \u00eenchide \u00een sine \u015fi de a \u0163ine unul cu altul, reaminte\u015fte autorul \u00een nenum\u0103rate r\u00e2nduri. C\u0103 aveau picioare, dar nu aveau cap&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 160). Pe vlahi, gori\u0163arii \u00eei aveau \u00ab&nbsp;deopotriv\u0103 at\u00e2t de aproape \u015fi at\u00e2t de departe. Aproape ca trup \u015fi departe suflete\u015fte&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 159).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consecin\u0163ele egalitarismul la vlahi, pus \u00een eviden\u0163\u0103 de mult\u0103 vreme de autorii care au scris despre ei, sunt formulate foarte sugestiv &nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Pe cei din afar\u0103&nbsp;&nbsp;\u00eei acceptau f\u0103r\u0103 condi\u0163ii, \u00een schimb, pe cei din interior \u00eei \u00eenconjurau cu \u015ferpi venino\u015fi. Ca \u015fi cum erau lega\u0163i de obiceiul \u00eengrop\u0103rii fiec\u0103rui vlah ce se d\u0103dea important \u015fi \u00eencerca s\u0103 ias\u0103 din r\u00e2nduielile lor. Fiind foarte apropia\u0163i unii de al\u0163ii \u015fi la fel de s\u0103raci, fa\u0163\u0103 de ace\u015ftia sim\u0163eau aceia\u015fi furie.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 165.)&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Totodat\u0103 sim\u0163ea c\u0103 a fost mai bine c\u00e2nd era egalul tuturor&nbsp;\u00bb, noteaz\u0103 autorul despre Socrat Buba aflat \u00een plin\u0103 ascensiune social\u0103 (p. 267).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Condi\u0163iile \u00een care sedentarizarea a avut loc dup\u0103 r\u0103zboi sunt clar expuse&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab&nbsp;Odat\u0103 cu \u00eentreruperea vie\u0163ii migratoare \u015fi p\u0103r\u0103sirea mun\u0163ilor Vitcuci, la vlahii din Bufni\u0163a intervenise schimbarea. Vlahii st\u0103teau de o parte de gori\u0163ari, dar luau de la ei acele lucruri care le pl\u0103ceau, \u00eentruc\u00e2t ra\u0163iunea le spunea c\u0103 nu trebuie s\u0103 le nege.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 102.)&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Provocarea la care erau expu\u015fi nu era u\u015for de relevat \u00een cazul lor. Ei prefer\u0103, scrie Thanas Medi,&nbsp;&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;&nbsp;s\u0103 se autodenumeasc\u0103 cu vorba vlah\u0103&nbsp;<em>tur\u0103\u015fti<\/em>, a c\u0103rei traducre exact\u0103 era \u2018\u2019mul\u0163ime \u2019\u2019 sau \u2019\u2019gr\u0103mad\u0103 \u2019\u2019. Era de \u00een\u0163eles at\u00e2ta timp c\u00e2t \u2019\u2019mul\u0163imea \u2019\u2019 presupunea mi\u015fcare, \u00een timp ce \u00ab&nbsp;sat&nbsp;\u00bb \u00eenr\u0103d\u0103cinare. Iar ei, neav\u00e2nd \u00eenc\u0103 r\u0103d\u0103cini, tr\u0103iau cu ideea mi\u015fc\u0103rii&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 252). Nu ar trebui \u00eens\u0103 pierdut din vedere importan\u0163a exagerat\u0103 \u015fi virtu\u0163ile imaginare acordate r\u0103d\u0103cinilor \u00een Balcanii post-otomani, \u00een vederea constituirii na\u0163iunilor \u015fi a consolid\u0103rii lor care f\u0103ceau ca o asemenea situa\u0163ie s\u0103 constituie un serios handicap pentru o popula\u0163ie veche&nbsp;&nbsp;care practica semi-nomadismul pastoral precum vlahii dar \u015fi pentru alte popula\u0163ii sosite mai recent \u00een regiune. Primarul Gori\u0163ei ilustreaz\u0103 la un moment dat foarte bine&nbsp;&nbsp;rolul jucat de invocarea r\u0103d\u0103cinilor \u00een adoptarea unei atitudini superioare&nbsp;&nbsp;fa\u0163\u0103 de vlahi. \u00ab&nbsp;Deseori, despre vlahii colibelor g\u00e2ndea c\u0103 sunt o turm\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 form\u0103 \u015fi dezr\u0103d\u0103cinat\u0103, c\u0103rora le po\u0163i face orice (\u2026) le lipsea siguran\u0163a, care era pentru om precum r\u0103d\u0103cinile pentru pom. Vlahii erau pomi f\u0103r\u0103 r\u0103d\u0103cin\u0103\u2026&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 163). Ordinul de la guvern ca \u00ab&nbsp;poporul s\u0103 se distreze organizat&nbsp;\u00bb a fost bine primit la \u00eenceput, serile dansante organizate fiind pentru vlahi \u00ab&nbsp;un fel de mare nunt\u0103 la care puteai veni chiar f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 fi fost invitat&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 131). \u00cen schimb, fetele vlahe nu vor accepta s\u0103 c\u00e2nte \u00een biserica transformat\u0103 recent \u00een cas\u0103 de cultur\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;deoarece se temeau de mor\u0163i&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 257).&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dubi\u0163ele \u00ab&nbsp;cu ochii pe st\u00e2ne&nbsp;\u00bb care \u00eei vor aresta pe oieri \u015fi le vor confisca turmele nu vor \u00eent\u00e2rzia s\u0103-\u015fi fac\u0103 apari\u0163ia, \u015fi neajunsurile vor fi tot mai mari, cum poate foarte bine constata cititorul pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce se apropie de epilogul c\u0103r\u0163ii. Cunoscut sub numele Atotputernicul, secretarul din zon\u0103 era \u015fi el vlah, dar \u00ab&nbsp;de-al locului&nbsp;\u00bb, dintr-o localitate din apropiere, Selenic\u00eb, \u015fi nu voia s\u0103 vorbeasc\u0103 arom\u00e2na, ceea ce nu putea dec\u00e2t s\u0103-i decep\u0163ioneze pe veri\u015forii de la munte care se bucuraser\u0103 la \u00eenceput c\u0103 unul dintre ei exersa o func\u0163ie at\u00e2t de important\u0103 (pp. 277-278).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Riza K\u00ebrpi, alter ego-ul albanez al autorului<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Majoritatea considera\u0163ilor de ordin general despre vlahi sunt emise de un personaj cheie din carte care constituie un fel de&nbsp;<em>alter ego<\/em>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;albanez&nbsp;\u00bb al autorului. \u00cenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tor, pasionat de vlahi despre care vrea s\u0103 scrie o carte, musulmanul Riza K\u00ebrpi a contractat o rela\u0163ie particular\u0103 cu ei d\u00e2nd un prenume vlah, Dimitri, fiului s\u0103u, \u00een speran\u0163a c\u0103 va supravie\u0163ui, av\u00e2nd \u00een vedere c\u0103 cei care \u00eel precedaser\u0103 muriser\u0103 pu\u0163in dup\u0103 na\u015ftere. Un veri\u015for \u00eel sf\u0103tuise \u00ab&nbsp;s\u0103-i dea numele unui vlah, pentru c\u0103 ace\u015ftia nu mor niciodat\u0103&nbsp;!&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;&nbsp;(p. 107). El \u00ee\u015fi asum\u0103 riscul de a pune \u00eempreun\u0103 dou\u0103 lucruri care de totdeauna au fost separate&nbsp;: prenumele cre\u015ftin \u015fi numele musulman, cu toate c\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;era ca \u015fi cum a-i \u00eenchide \u00eentr-o colivie dou\u0103 p\u0103s\u0103ri care se ceart\u0103 \u015fi, de aceea, trebuie s\u0103 se g\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 bine pentru a g\u0103si acea rezolvare prin care p\u0103s\u0103rile s\u0103 nu-\u015fi smulg\u0103 una alteia penele&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 108).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alt\u0103 particularitate, care ar fi meritat o not\u0103 util\u0103 cititorilor nealbanofoni&nbsp;: Riza este lab, apar\u0163ine deci unei comunit\u0103\u0163i distincte de \u00ab&nbsp;cre\u015ftinii&nbsp;\u00bb din Gori\u0163a, \u00een ochii c\u0103rora \u015fi membrii ei ap\u0103reau&nbsp;&nbsp;ca un fel de \u00ab&nbsp;venetici&nbsp;\u00bb. De confesiune musulman\u0103, labii, veni\u0163i \u015fi ei din regiuni muntoase, se instalaser\u0103 la Gori\u0163a \u00eenaintea vlahilor. Numele lor vine de la Lab\u00ebria, provincie situat\u0103 \u00een sudul Albaniei. Numele regional al celorlal\u0163i albanezi, mai degrab\u0103 cre\u015ftini, din aceast\u0103 provincie vine \u00een schimb de la acela al diverselor mici regiuni care fac parte din Lab\u00ebria&nbsp;: Gjirokast\u00ebr, Sarand\u00eb\u2026 \u00cen scara de valori de la Gori\u0163a, labii ocupau un loc intermediar \u00eentre cei numi\u0163i de Thanas Medi \u00een carte \u00ab&nbsp;cre\u015ftini&nbsp;\u00bb, primii locuitori ai acestui sat, \u015fi vlahi. Si \u00ab&nbsp;cre\u015ftinii&nbsp;\u00bb \u015fi labii sunt albaneazi, \u00ab&nbsp;vlahilor de la munte&nbsp;\u00bb \u00ab&nbsp; revenindu-le r\u00e2ndul ceva mai t\u00e2rziu, ceea ce indic\u0103 complexitatea no\u0163iunii de albanitate pe aceste meleaguri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00centru-un fel, te po\u0163i \u00eentreba dac\u0103 disponibiitatea de care d\u0103 dovad\u0103 Riza<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>pentru vlahi nu este doar o consecin\u0163\u0103 a \u00eencrederii pe care el, persoana cea mai \u015fcolit\u0103 \u015fi mai ra\u0163ional\u0103 din zon\u0103, o face unei curioase supersti\u0163i&nbsp;: frica de a pierde propriul b\u0103iat c\u0103ruia i-a dat un precum vlah ca s\u0103 tr\u0103iasc\u0103. Totu\u015fi simpatia pe care el o nutre\u015fte pentru stilul de via\u0163\u0103 \u015fi calit\u0103\u0163ile vlahilor nu poate fi pus\u0103 la \u00eendoial\u0103.&nbsp;&nbsp;Iat\u0103 impresiile lui dup\u0103 o&nbsp;&nbsp;noapte petrecut\u0103 \u00een tov\u0103r\u0103\u015fia lor&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Era un grup de b\u0103rba\u0163i care p\u0103reau c\u0103 se afl\u0103 \u00een buricul p\u0103m\u00e2ntului \u015fi nu \u00eentr-unul din col\u0163urile cele mai pierdute ale lui, cum era Pasul Muzina. Si mai ales \u00eentr-o noapte \u00een care&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;stelele l\u0103crimau de frig. C\u00e2ntau, beau, vorbeau tare, \u015fi r\u00e2deau cum au obiceiul doar vlahii. Pentru a se sim\u0163i buricul p\u0103m\u00e2ntului, se g\u00e2ndi pentru o secund\u0103, Riza, este nevoie ca omul s\u0103 aib\u0103 nevoie doar de c\u00e2teva lucruri&nbsp;: c\u00e2ntecele, rachiul, un pumn de ceap\u0103 uscat\u0103 \u015fi, f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eendoial\u0103, prietenia.&nbsp;\u00bb (P. 115.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registrul politic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indignat de felul \u00een care sunt trata\u0163i vlahii de ceilal\u0163i notabili \u015fi de nedrept\u0103\u0163ile&nbsp;&nbsp;care se abat asupra lor, el caut\u0103 o explica\u0163ie \u015fi, mai mult, o solu\u0163ie. Nu este greu de imaginat c\u0103 autorul romanului \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fe\u015fte multe dintre argumentele acestui personaj \u015fi mai ales diagnosticul lui. O sumedenie de \u00eentreb\u0103ri pe care semenii lui refuz\u0103 s\u0103 \u015fi le pun\u0103&nbsp;&nbsp;sunt la originea c\u0103r\u0163ii despre vlahi \u00een vederea c\u0103reia el se documenteaz\u0103. De ce se \u00eembr\u0103cau, pl\u00e2ngeau \u015fi c\u00e2ntau diferit&nbsp;? De ce str\u0103inii \u00eei numeau vlahi, iar&nbsp;&nbsp;ei \u00een\u015fi\u015fi \u00ee\u015fi spuneau&nbsp;<em>r\u00e2m\u00e2ni<\/em>&nbsp;? De ce vorbeau limba lor liber \u00een cas\u0103 iar \u00een afara casei o rosteau printre din\u0163i&nbsp;? \u2026 (p. 177). Concluzile pe care le trage sunt cople\u015fitoare. Dac\u0103 primarul Gori\u0163ei refuza ca vlahii s\u0103 aib\u0103 propriul lor stand sub denumirea de vlahi la muzeul de art\u0103 popular\u0103&nbsp;&nbsp;din sat era \u00ab&nbsp;pentru binele na\u0163iunii&nbsp;\u00bb, pericolul fiind \u00ab&nbsp;trezirea acestui popor din somnul s\u0103u de na\u0163iune adormit\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 142). \u00ab&nbsp;Vor disp\u0103rea singuri, c\u00e2nd vor uita ce sunt \u015fi de ce sunt diferi\u0163i de ceilal\u0163i. Numai c\u0103 treaba asta necesit\u0103 un \u00eenceput. Iar \u00eenceputul este s\u0103 li se piard\u0103 numele, deci s\u0103 nu-i numim vlahi ci venetici.&nbsp;\u00bb \u00ab&nbsp;Cred c\u0103 ei au r\u0103mas at\u00e2t de vii \u00eenc\u00e2t nu merit\u0103 s\u0103 dispar\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb, \u00eel aten\u0163ioneaz\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103torul (p. 152). Consult\u00e2nd un misterios \u00ab&nbsp;om \u00eenv\u0103\u0163at&nbsp;\u00bb, Riza afl\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;c\u0103 ar fi \u00eencercat Rom\u00e2nia s\u0103-i ia , \u00eentruc\u00e2t \u00eei numea rom\u00e2ni, dar \u015fi Grecia, care \u00eei numea greci. Albania \u00eei p\u0103streaz\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 inten\u0163ia de a-i expune. Si \u00eei men\u0163inea \u00eentr-o permanent\u0103 cea\u0163\u0103, a\u015fa cum f\u0103cuse din totdeauna \u015fi cu Moscopole&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 184).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Opozi\u0163ia \u00eentre&nbsp;&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;vlahii muntelui&nbsp;\u00bb \u015fi cei \u00ab&nbsp;ai locului&nbsp;\u00bb, zi\u015fi \u015fi \u00ab&nbsp;b\u0103\u015ftina\u015fi&nbsp;\u00bb (\u015fi chiar uneori autohtoni cum sunt numi\u0163i \u015fi albanezii), joac\u0103 un rol central \u00een ra\u0163ionamentul declinat. Ace\u015ftia din urm\u0103 s-au \u00ab&nbsp;topit&nbsp;\u00bb amestec\u00e2ndu-se cu autohtonii&nbsp;:&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;P\u00e2n\u0103 acum, marii perdan\u0163i din r\u00e2ndul vlahilor au fost cei care se numeau \u2018\u2019b\u0103\u015ftina\u015fi\u2019\u2019. \u00cen schimb, cei ai muntelui, unde intr\u0103 \u015fi cei ai Gori\u0163ei Mari sau ai Bufni\u0163ei, reprezentau m\u0103rurturia vie a existen\u0163ei \u00een Balcani au unui alt s\u00e2nge&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 290).&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Si Moscopole, \u00ab&nbsp;satul cu cea mai luminoas\u0103 istorie \u015fi \u00een acela\u015fi timp cea mai \u00eence\u0163o\u015fat\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb (\u2026) s-a n\u0103scut dintr-un pumn de colibe de paie&nbsp;\u00bb &nbsp;:&nbsp;&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;\u2018\u2019Ai muntelui\u2019\u2019 p\u0103reau s\u0103 aib\u0103 fire de leg\u0103tur\u0103 numai cu p\u0103\u015funile Moscopolei, \u00een timp ce cei \u2018\u2019ai locului\u2019\u2019 erau dezr\u0103d\u0103cina\u0163ii de demult ai Moscopolei \u015fi acoperi\u0163i de mister. Dar, \u015fi a\u015fa, erau acela\u015fi lucru, de\u015fi erau diferi\u0163i, p\u0103r\u00e2nd ca un singur trup cu dou\u0103 fe\u0163e.&nbsp;\u00bb (pp. 180-181).<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Oric\u00e2t de mult ar \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fi g\u00e2ndurile frumoase \u015fi teoriile despre vlahi emise de personajul s\u0103u, autorul c\u0103r\u0163ii pare tentat s\u0103 adopte o pozi\u0163ie mai politic\u0103,&nbsp;&nbsp;mai realist\u0103. \u00ab&nbsp;[Vlahii]&nbsp;vor case de piatr\u0103, pledeaz\u0103 Socrat Buba \u00een fa\u0163a primarului,<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>deoarece le-a ie\u015fit sufletul pe nas de la colibele de paie, vor un sat care s\u0103 fie al lor totdeauna, cum este Gori\u0163a Mare. Cu pere\u0163i care nu cad vreodat\u0103 \u015fi cu acoperi\u015f care nu arde niciodat\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb (p. 162). In ochii autorului, procesul de sedentarizare definitiv\u0103 era \u00eentr-un fel dorit \u015fi mai ales inevitabil&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;Dup\u0103 multe transhuman\u0163e ( \u2026) venise vremea stabilirii \u00eentr-un singur loc&nbsp;\u00bb (p.&nbsp;&nbsp;149). \u00cen schimb, dorin\u0163a poate cea ma arz\u0103toare a vlahilor de la munte, aceea de a avea un loc doar pentru ei, nu a fost \u00eemplinit\u0103, de unde \u015fi dispersiunea lor \u015fi asimilarea brutal\u0103 \u00eentr-un context ostil noilor instala\u0163i \u00een satele \u015fi ora\u015fele albaneze. C\u00e2t despre casele de piatr\u0103, nu po\u0163i s\u0103 nu te g\u00e2nde\u015fti la acelea pe care arom\u00e2nii au putut s\u0103 le construiasc\u0103 la munte \u00een ultimele secole otomane&nbsp;: la Moscopole si nu numai acolo&nbsp;: la Crusevo, Molovi\u015fte, Metsovo, Vlahoclisura\u2026 Destinul vlahilor de pe teritoriul care corespunde sudului Albaniei de ast\u0103zi, cunoscut \u015fi sub numele de Epirul de nord a fost diferit din cauza izol\u0103rii acestor locuri, a nesiguran\u0163ei care prevala datorit\u0103 corup\u0163iei administra\u0163iei otomane, izolare accentuat\u0103 de grani\u0163ele fixate \u00een bun\u0103 parte arbitrar, dac\u0103 ne g\u00e2ndim la Epirul \u00eemp\u0103r\u0163it \u00een dou\u0103, odata cu formarea statului albanez \u00een 1913 \u015fi, dup\u0103 aceea, a instaur\u0103rii regimului comunist. \u00cen plus, vlahii de la munte sedentariza\u0163i dup\u0103 al doilea r\u0103zboi mondial nu aveau cum s\u0103 aib\u0103 parcursul profesional al celor care au putut s\u0103 se integreze progresiv devenind c\u0103r\u0103u\u015fi, artizani, negustori, cum s-a \u00eent\u00e2mplat pe timpuri cu cei din viitoarea Grecie modern\u0103, Republic\u0103 Macedonia \u015fi, mai aproape de ei, din viitoare Albanie. Andon Po\u00e7i, l\u00e2ng\u0103 Gjirokast\u00ebr, va fi unica localitate \u00een care vlahii de la munte au putut s\u0103 se regrupeze. La Andon Po\u00e7i s-a n\u0103scut de astfel Spiru Fuchi, autorul&nbsp;<em>Vlahomaniei<\/em><a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/7B11D295-20C5-4F21-8F2F-2D735595FD7A#_ftn5\"><sup>[5]<\/sup><\/a>, poetul modern prin excelen\u0163\u0103 care descrie ca nimeni altul dificultatea de a exista, de a scrie, de a te afirma ca vlah \u00een lumea de azi. Doar \u00een rom\u00e2n\u0103 este reluat etnonimul arom\u00e2nilor (<em>arm\u00e2nj<\/em>), \u00eentr-o form\u0103 rom\u00e2nizat\u0103, calchiat\u0103 dup\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;rom\u00e2ni&nbsp;\u00bb, ceea ce produce o anumit\u0103 confuzie.
