La ei, aceast\u0103 idee corespunde unor fr\u0103m\u00e2nt\u0103ri,\u00a0\u00a0dorin\u0163ei de a se afirma, deseori necesit\u0103\u0163ii de a se justifica, care nu dateaz\u0103 de ieri sau de alalt\u0103ieri. O s\u0103 o fac cu ocazia unui eveniment organizat din Rom\u00e2nia, \u00eentr-un context marcat nu numai de pandemie dar \u015fi de ostilitatea statului rom\u00e2n vizavi de aspira\u0163ile arom\u00e2nilor \u015fi rom\u00e2nilor de origine arom\u00e2n\u0103 anima\u0163i de fr\u0103m\u00e2nt\u0103rile despre care am vorbit mai \u00eenainte. Bine\u00een\u0163eles, nu \u00een ultimul r\u00e2nd m\u0103 adresez tuturor celor care, fiind vorba de arom\u00e2ni \u015fi arom\u00e2nce, las\u0103 deoparte stereotipurile, cele pozitive fiind deseori mai insidioase dec\u00e2t cele negative,&nbsp;&nbsp;care circul\u0103 pe seama lor. Ma adresez deci tuturor acelora care \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103-i ia pe arom\u00e2ni drept ceea ce sunt nu drept ceea ce ar putea sau ar trebui s\u0103 fie.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dou\u0103 lucruri&nbsp;sunt de luat imperativ \u00een considera\u0163ie. Pe de o parte, limba este principala caracteristic\u0103 distinctiv\u0103 a arom\u00e2nilor \u00een zonele \u00een care sunt atesta\u0163i de mai bine de un mileniu. Pe de alt\u0103 parte, aceste zone sunt situate \u00eentr-o arie civiliza\u0163ional\u0103 distinct\u0103 de spa\u0163iul nord-dun\u0103raean. Dac\u0103 nu \u0163ii cont de aceste lucruri, toate derivele devin posibile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considera\u0163iile care urmeaz\u0103 nu au leg\u0103tur\u0103 cu istoria, lingvistica sau antropologia. Rela\u0163ia mea cu lumea arom\u00e2n\u0103, a\u015fa cum e ea, adic\u0103 care nu a fost, nu e \u015fi nu cred c\u0103 va fi o na\u0163iune \u00een sensul curent al cuv\u00e2ntului, s-a dovedit a fi compatibil\u0103 cu un universalism de care sunt profund ata\u015fat. \u00centr-un fel, a\u015f prefera poate ca data de 23 mai s\u0103 fie s\u0103rb\u0103torit\u0103 ca o zi a arom\u00e2nilor pur \u015fi simplu. Nu sunt \u00eens\u0103 favorabil abandon\u0103rii preciz\u0103rii \u00ab&nbsp;na\u0163ional\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb. Voi \u00eencerca, prin urmare, s\u0103 explic de ce aceast\u0103 precizare corespunde unei op\u0163iuni strategice greu de evitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lumea arom\u00e2n\u0103 nu a fost, nu e \u015fi nu cred c\u0103 va fi o na\u0163iune din diverse motive obiective&nbsp;: mobilitate, r\u0103sp\u00e2ndire, specializare socio-profesional\u0103, izolare, care au marcat istoria ei \u015fi cultura pe care o vehiculeaz\u0103. Aceasta nu a \u00eempiedicat-o s\u0103 se perpetueze de-a lungul timpului in acord cu exigen\u0163ele epocilor pe care le-a traversat, inclusiv aceea care corespunde generaliz\u0103rii principiului na\u0163ional \u00een Balcani, deci pornind de la a doua parte a secolului XIX. Odat\u0103 cu criza principiului na\u0163ional la care asist\u0103m de c\u00e2teva decenii \u00eencoace, ceea ce constituia un handicap p\u0103rea s\u0103 devin\u0103 un atu \u00een afirmarea lumii arom\u00e2ne. Nu a fost chiar a\u015fa, pu\u0163ine au fost&nbsp;&nbsp;cazurile de minorit\u0103\u0163i atipice care au sc\u0103pat \u00een \u00eentregime de t\u0103v\u0103lugul na\u0163iunilor majoritare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00e2t despre arom\u00e2ni, la ce asist\u0103m \u00een ultima vreme&nbsp;? Exaspera\u0163i de dificultatea de a se imagina ca o na\u0163iune aparte, arom\u00e2nii fac \u00een general tot ce pot pentru a integra &#8211; \u00een condi\u0163iile cele mai bune \u015fi pe c\u00e2t se poate &#8211; na\u0163iunile \u00een statele unde ei tr\u0103iesc. Majoritatea o fac discret, resemna\u0163i, prefer\u00e2nd s\u0103 se bucure de ceea ce c\u00e2\u015ftig\u0103 mai repede dec\u00e2t s\u0103 cultive o nostalgie boln\u0103vicioas\u0103 pentru ceea ce pierd. Unii accelereaz\u0103 mi\u015fcarea din oportunism iar al\u0163ii sf\u00e2r\u015fesc prin a deveni la r\u00e2ndul lor ni\u015fte na\u0163ionali\u015fti rom\u00e2ni convin\u015fi. Astfel,&nbsp;&nbsp;azi, ca \u015fi ieri \u015fi alalt\u0103ieri, ace\u015ftia din urm\u0103 au devenit mai rom\u00e2ni dec\u00e2t rom\u00e2nii \u00een Rom\u00e2nia, mai greci dec\u00e2t grecii, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nu mai pu\u0163in exaspera\u0163i de incapacitatea lumii arom\u00e2ne de a deveni o na\u0163iune aparte, mai ales datorit\u0103 rezisten\u0163elor venite din l\u0103untrul ei, al\u0163i arom\u00e2ni se str\u0103duie s\u0103 construiasc\u0103 la r\u00e2ndul lor un na\u0163ionalism arom\u00e2n. \u00cen aceasta const\u0103 \u00een bun\u0103 parte noutatea \u00een Rom\u00e2nia ultimilor ani. Ei o fac \u00eens\u0103 dup\u0103 modelul pe care l-au cunoscut&nbsp;: tracii, dacii, odinioar\u0103 eventual latinii, sunt \u00eenlocui\u0163i cu pelasgii, grecii dinaintea grecilor \u015fi, mai ales cu&nbsp;&nbsp;macedonenii, administra\u0163ia roman\u0103 \u00een Balcani \u00een cursul c\u0103reia s-a format limba arom\u00e2n\u0103 devenind un fel de parantez\u0103 pu\u0163in semnificativ\u0103 fa\u0163\u0103 de glorile acumulate \u00een periodele precedente. Comportamentul predecesorilor lor \u00een perioada \u015fcolilor rom\u00e2ne\u015fti le apare drept incomprehensibil. De acum \u00eenainte, totul a fost altcum, au decis unii dintre ei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este oare periculos un asemenea na\u0163ionalism arom\u00e2n pentru lumea arom\u00e2n\u0103&nbsp;? Desigur, dar nicio compara\u0163ie nu e posibil cu ravagile f\u0103cute de na\u0163ionalismul rom\u00e2nesc care dispune de cu totul alte mijloace pentru a impune \u015fi legitima&nbsp;&nbsp;politica actual\u0103 de asimilare pur \u015fi simplu a arom\u00e2nilor din Rom\u00e2nia \u015fi din Balcani<em>.&nbsp;<\/em>Desigur foloasele pe care le poate aduce Rom\u00e2niei aceast\u0103 politic\u0103 sunt infime \u015fi de natur\u0103 pur simbolic\u0103. Ea poate la limit\u0103 s\u0103 stisfac\u0103 anumite veleit\u0103\u0163i de expansiune \u00een Balcani \u015fi s\u0103 alimenteze, gra\u0163ie unor tentative grosolane de rescriere a istoriei, retorica na\u0163ional\u0103 rom\u00e2neasc\u0103. Aceasta nu face mai pu\u0163in deleter (v\u0103t\u0103m\u0103tor) efectul acestei politici din punctul de vedere al lumii arom\u00e2ne.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajungem astfel la principala problem\u0103 care ne preocup\u0103. \u00cenc\u0103 din anii \u201980, diaspora arom\u00e2n\u0103 din Occident identifica \u00een termeni foarte clari pericolul. Pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce cadrul tradi\u0163ional se destr\u0103ma, transmiterea limbii \u015fi memoriei aromanilor devenea din ce \u00een ce mai problematic\u0103. F\u0103r\u0103 recunoa\u015ftere \u015fi drepturi legale, deci f\u0103r\u0103 support public, f\u0103r\u0103 un cadru institu\u0163ional adaptat nevoilor ei, lumea aceasta, care este mult mai fragil\u0103 dec\u00e2t pare, este condamnat\u0103 la dispari\u0163ie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen cazul rom\u00e2nesc, evolu\u0163ia situa\u0163iei recente arat\u0103 ce pu\u0163in\u0103 trecere au argumentele ra\u0163ionale atunci c\u00e2nd ele contravin convingerilor na\u0163ionale profund \u00eenr\u0103d\u0103cinate. Ele sunt formal acceptate dar repede relativizate. At\u00e2ta timp c\u00e2t nu este contestat\u0103 rela\u0163ia de subordonare a lumii arom\u00e2ne fa\u0163\u0103 de na\u0163iunea rom\u00e2n\u0103 nicio solu\u0163ie favorabil\u0103 acestei lumi ne poate fi considerat\u0103. Refuzul unei astfel de rela\u0163ii infantilizante \u00een ultim\u0103 analiz\u0103 duce inevitabil la o confruntare frontal\u0103 cu na\u0163ionalismul rom\u00e2nesc. Rom\u00e2nii sunt o na\u0163iune&nbsp;? De ce nu \u015fi arom\u00e2nii&nbsp;? De ce venirea regelui pe 10 mai, schimbarea armelor contra Germaniei naziste pe 23 august sau unirea Tansilvaniei du regatul rom\u00e2n pe 1 decembrie ar fi o s\u0103rb\u0103toare mai \u00ab&nbsp;na\u0163ional\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb pentru arom\u00e2ni dec\u00e2t decretul emis de sultan confirm\u00e2nd existen\u0163a lor ca millet, na\u0163iune aparte&nbsp;? Viitorul lumii arom\u00e2ne \u00eentr-o \u0163ar\u0103 ca Rom\u00e2nia depinde de capacitatea ei \u015fi a celor care vorbesc \u00een numele ei de a se impune \u015fi pe acest teren. Bine\u00een\u0163eles, argumentele necesare ca s\u0103 ai c\u00e2\u015ftig de cauza \u00een acest domeniu trebuie s\u0103 fie ceva mai consistente dec\u00e2t acelea pe care le opun azi dacopa\u0163ilor recen\u0163ii adep\u0163i ai makedonopatiei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unii nu se vor putea \u00eempiedica s\u0103 z\u00e2mbeasc\u0103 privind spectacolul cam anacronic \u015fi u\u015for exotic la care se preteaz\u0103 arom\u00e2nii care omagiaz\u0103 pe 23 mai m\u0103rinimia sultanului otoman. Totu\u015fi, iradeaua emis\u0103 cu aceast\u0103 ocazie era un act eminamente modern, cum o explic\u0103 foarte clar Max-Demeter Peyfuss&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Situa\u0163ia juridic\u0103 creat\u0103 prin iradea este lipsit\u0103 de echivoc (\u2026) dar ea constituia o inova\u0163ie care greu se \u00eemp\u0103ca cu privilegiile tradi\u0163ionale ale Pariarhatului&nbsp;\u00bb.&nbsp;&nbsp;Iradeaua contrazice \u00ab&nbsp;dreptul canonic codificat recunoscut \u015fi de autoritatea de stat islamic\u0103&nbsp;\u00bb tocmai pentru c\u0103&nbsp;&nbsp;aplic\u0103 \u00ab&nbsp;principiile de drept natural promovate de popoarele angajate \u00een afirmarea na\u0163ionalit\u0103\u0163ii \u00een secolul al XIX-lea&nbsp;\u00bb (<em>Chestiunea arom\u00e2neasca<\/em>, Bucuresti, 1994, p. 92).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00e2\u0163iva ani dup\u0103 emiterea iradelei de la 1905, posesiunile europeene ale Imperiului otoman vor fi \u00eemp\u0103r\u0163ite \u00eentre noile state balcanice cu ocazia p\u0103cii de la Bucuresti din 1913. Ceea ce a fost posibil \u00een imperiu, nu va mai fi posibil de acum \u00eenainte. O sut\u0103 cincisprezece ani dup\u0103 hot\u0103r\u00e2rea sultanului, la scara Uniunii europeene, de ce n-am putea imagina o hot\u0103r\u00e2re, \u00eentr-o form\u0103 care r\u0103m\u00e2ne de stabilit de comun acord, care s\u0103 permit\u0103 recunoasterea lumii arom\u00e2ne \u015fi&nbsp;&nbsp;a da astfel o \u015fas\u0103 afirm\u0103rii ei \u00een viitorul comun sud-est european&nbsp;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post scriptum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u0103r\u0103 discu\u0163ie, iradeaua din 1905 a fost un succes major al diploma\u0163iei rom\u00e2ne. Ea a \u00eencununat politica dus\u0103 de t\u00e2n\u0103rul stat rom\u00e2n \u00een Balcani cu acordul \u015fi participarea arom\u00e2nilor \u00een c\u0103utarea unei solu\u0163ii na\u0163ionale. Contrastul \u00eentre ace\u015fti fini \u015fi abili negociatori cu Marile Puteri de la \u00eenceputul secolului XX \u015fi manevrele emisarilor Bucure\u015ftiului la Tirana sau Skopje din zilele noastre pe tema \u00ab&nbsp;rom\u00e2nilor de pretutindeni&nbsp;\u00bb este izbitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal, nu cred c\u0103 se poate vorbi de o continuitate. Faptul c\u0103 Rom\u00e2nia de azi adopt\u0103 acelea\u015fi pozi\u0163ii ca Rom\u00e2nia de acum un secol nu are acea\u015fi semnifica\u0163ie. Istoria nu se repet\u0103 sau, mai bine zis, c\u00e2nd se repet\u0103, ceea ce putea s\u0103 fie o tragedie \u00een 1913, c\u00e2nd Rom\u00e2nia abandona de fapt presiunile pentru a ob\u0163ine respectul drepturilor elementului valah \u00een Balcani, devine azi, c\u00e2nd Rom\u00e2nia pretinde c\u0103 continu\u0103 politica de acum un secol, o fars\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adep\u0163ii ideii c\u0103 politica Rom\u00e2niei a r\u0103mas aceia\u015fi au tendin\u0163a s\u0103 uite anumite lucruri. Pentru cei care consider\u0103 c\u0103 aceast\u0103 politic\u0103 a fost de totdeauna generoas\u0103 fa\u0163\u0103 de arom\u00e2ni, cu excep\u0163ia perioadei comuniste de dup\u0103 r\u0103zboi, uit\u0103 de momentul 1913. Cei care atribuie aceast\u0103 politic\u0103 exclusiv intereselor egoiste ale Rom\u00e2niei, uit\u0103 c\u0103 alt\u0103 solu\u0163ie nu exista pentru arom\u00e2nii doritori s\u0103 se afirme ca atare \u00een Balcani dec\u00e2t aceea propus\u0103 de Rom\u00e2nia. Aceasta a fost solu\u0163ia cea mai buna care putea fi ob\u0163inut\u0103. Ea s-a revelat efemer\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd Rom\u00e2nia a g\u0103sit alte c\u0103i de a \u00ee\u015fi realiza propriile interese, \u00een 1913.
